Three-year-old Sparky is an active dog owner’s dream – super smart, friendly, athletic, and down for just about any adventure you’re into. He LOVES training games and has learned all his basic commands while at the shelter. All that’s missing is a loving family to give him the daily exercise, socialization, and forever home that he’s so deserving of.
Sparky will do best with someone who is HOME-BASED and has the time, energy, and interest to provide DAILY outings, adventures, and mental challenges. Based on what we’ve seen, he’d likely excel in competitive sports — but will be just as happy doing whatever activities you love. Given that, he has the potential to be the most awesome best friend you could wish for.
This boy is NOT for couch potatoes, or one who can be left alone in a yard with nothing to do. Due to his size and enthusiasm, we don’t recommend a home with small children.
Sparky’s adopter will receive a “Smart Start” Training Scholarship for three private, in-home sessions (South OC only) to help you get off to a great start together.
Sparky is a big active dog. needs a secure 6′ fence.
