Be a Foster!
Nothing is more rewarding than opening your heart and home to a rescued animal in need of temporary foster care.
New Beginnings for Animals desperately needs foster homes for:
 |
Mama cats & their kittens |
 |
Orphaned kittens |
 |
Mama dogs & their puppies |
 |
Orphaned puppies |
 |
Dogs or cats in need of a quiet place to hospice after surgery or trauma |
If you’ve got a flexible schedule and feel like you can offer a homeless dog, cat, puppies or kittens, a warm & safe temporary home filled with lots of love & care, then we need you…and so do our animals!
YOU PAY NOTHING!
We Provide & Pay For Everything You Need To Set Up A Foster Area or Room In Your Home
•Food, towels, blankets, beds, bowls, toys, pen
•Any medications or supplements if necessary
•Vet visits, exams, surgeries…all medical costs/treatments
•Prescreening/Interviewing potential permanent homes
HERE’S WHAT YOU DONATE
•A safe and comfortable indoor/enclosed room or pet area
•Daily care and cleaning of your foster pet’s living area/bedding/supplies
•Daily interaction, love & socializing with your foster pet
•Attention to your pet’s health & habits; immediately notifying us of any health or behavioral issues with your pet and scheduling/transporting your pet to our designated veterinarian for health issues immediately
•Transporting your pet to the vet for any routine shots, spay/neuter, exam, etc., that may be needed
•Allowing our pre-screened potential families to meet your pet at your home
•Possibly accompany another volunteer on a home check of the potential home

Occasionally we need fosters who can bottle feed abandoned newborn kittens or puppies. It really is very easy but requires dedication and time. All you need is a spare room and the willingness to help these animals until we have space available at PetsMart for our kitties or in boarding for our dogs.
