Wyatt

Meet Wyatt! He's a super-sweet, playful, happy, 9-month-old, 38 lb., black Labrador Retriever mix on the smaller side. He won't grow much more so he'll be a medium sized dog. Wyatt is shy at first meeting but doesn't have a nasty bone in his body. He absolutely loves children and other dogs and just needs his confidence built when he first meets adults. Because he's still such an innocent puppy, he's well worth the time to get to know--and once he knows you, he's your best buddy ever. Wyatt loves to play ball and he's very mannerly, never jumping up on you. They don't come any sweeter than Wyatt so won't you meet him? His gentle spirit will win your heart! Emmy

Emmy is a fun, happy-go-lucky youngster, about 10 months old and all she wants to do is play, play play! Getting a photo of Emmy without a ball or toy in her mouth is nearly impossible! Emmy weighs about 48 lbs. and has a puppylike, easygoing temperament. We think she's an American Staffordshire terrier mixed with either retriever or spaniel because of her "webbed toes" like a water dog. Rescued on her last day from the Merced shelter, Emmy needs an active, loving home to keep her busy and make her part of the action. She gets along with the other dogs she meets, and her ball playing and silly antics make us laugh. Because she's young and willing to learn and please, time and training will pay off big time with Emmy--she'll be your shining star!
